The Keystone Group Supports Zero Carbon Hub ‘Nearer to Zero’ Conference

Alan Davies presents Best Eco Product award to Richard Kinloch for the unique Hi-Therm sustainability Lintel at the Build It Awards. The Keystone Group is particularly proud of its unique Hi-Therm sustainability Lintel. This product is remarkably 500% more thermally efficient than normal cavity lintels. It has a low thermal conductivity and therefore when used to support the outer leaf in a cavity wall construction it significantly minimises thermal bridging or heat transference.

The award was presented to Keystone Group UK Managing Director, Derrick McFarland and Research and Development Manager, Richard Kinloch, at the glittering awards ceremony which took place at the Tower Hotel in London on 7th November. The award was presented to Keystone’s Chief Executive Sean Coyle and Research and Development Manager Richard Kinloch, at the ceremony which took place at Edgbaston stadium in Birmingham on 20th June. Keystone’s Innovation Recognised by Construction Products Association

Keystone Group been recognised for its innovative Hi Therm Lintel, in the Construction Products Association’s 2012 edition of Construction Products Innovation and Achievement (CPIA). The Hi Therm Lintel’s achievement in the category of, Energy and Carbon Saving is one of only 18 products nationwide, to be chosen for this year’s publication, which showcases the most innovative products and processes created by the construction products industry during the last twelve months or so. Commenting on the achievement, Simon Storer, Communications and External Affairs Director, for the Construction Products Association said: “We are delighted that the construction products industry has once again demonstrated an enormous desire to introduce a variety of new and exciting solutions. Despite the construction industry suffering more than most sectors during the current downturn, one only needs to look at the products and processes showcased in CPIA to highlight the huge impact the industry is making towards change.
