Job Opportunity:

As Dispatch Supervisor, based at Swadlincote, you will be a dynamic individual who is self-motivated, well organized, with excellent communication skills.  This position will be responsible for supervising a team of up to 10 Dispatch and Yard Operatives.

Shift Pattern:

 Late Shift 3.00pm – 11.30pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing the full cycle of the dispatch process, from production, to picking/packing, to transportation
• Liaise with Production and Logistics to ensure orders are prioritised and progressed
• Carry out stock takes
• Ensure all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
• Ensure relevant audit, paperwork, and reports are completed

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience of supervising/managing a team is essential
• Experienced in a Transport or Dispatch environment
• Fully competent with all MS Office packages, including Word and Excel
• FLT licence is desirable
• Experience of operating Warehouse Management Systems would be beneficial
