Job Opportunities:
We are looking for a design engineer to join our expanding IG GRP department. The successful candidate will receive “on-the-job” training and will then be expected to work on their initiative within our vibrant design team. The successful candidate will be based in our office in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.
Job skills and qualifications:
- Graduate from Product Design or similar degree
- 3D Modeling skills essential
- Experience using Solid Works/Solid Edge is essential
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to generate original ideas
- Attention to detail
- Interest in building design and architecture would be beneficial
Job Description:
- Design & Model GRP building components
- Assist in developing range of modular GRP building components
- Assist with scheduling and tendering process as required
- Deal with fax, e-mail and telephone enquiries
- Suggest ideas for production process improvements
- Stock control
- Quality control
